"Bowling for Columbine" (2002) Directed by: Michael Moore Plot: The United States of America is notorious for its astronomical number of people killed by firearms for a developed nation without a civil war. With his signature sense of angry humor, activist filmmaker Michael Moore sets out to explore the roots of this bloodshed. In doing so, he learns that the conventional answers of easy availability of guns, violent national history, violent entertainment and even poverty are inadequate to explain this violence when other cultures share those same factors without the equivalent carnage. In order to arrive at a possible explanation, Michael Moore takes on a deeper examination of America's culture of fear, bigotry and violence in a nation with widespread gun ownership. Ok for people who are saying that this is the best documentary of all time and are big Michael Moore fans, please watch the film "Michael Moore Hates America" and don't be fooled by the title it's not that severe. It just gives the opinion of the other side, very interesting movie.

I've Watched many films fro the left, I'm Canadian and I always vote as a liberal, but I digress. I always found Mr.Moores side of things to be fairly accurate, but of course he only covers one side, I believe in evolution, therefore I'm not that interested in seeing a moive trying to convince me god is real, however I might see one for the fun of it. I checked out "micheal moore hates america" and hes right, not that severe really, but its intresting because every story has two sides.
A-V quality is good. At least good enough for me.
As for opinions about the contents - Moore's made a lot of money in his "fight against oppression", and though he makes many valid points in his films / books, he is ultimately a businessman selling a product.

Michael Moore: "Is it wrong for someone who's bought a film on DVD to let a friend watch it for free? Of course it's not. It never has been and never will be.
